G-Sphere – Coffs Central

A Premium Commercial Workspace Delivered with Precision

Located in the heart of Coffs Central, G-Sphere is a high-end commercial fit-out designed to deliver a premium workspace tailored to the modern business professional.

Developed by Gowings and constructed by Sanco Projects, this project brings together architectural design, material selection, and functionality to create a flexible and sophisticated office environment.

From open collaborative zones to private office suites, the space has been carefully curated to balance performance, comfort, and visual impact — resulting in a workplace that sets a new standard within the region.

Our Role – Coffs Coast Painting Co.

Coffs Coast Painting Co. was engaged to deliver the complete internal painting and finishing package, working alongside Sanco Projects, led by Steve Sanders, and leading hand Laith Wriggley.

This project required a high level of coordination, sequencing, and finish quality — delivered across multiple stages in line with construction progress.

From early works through to final detailing, our team ensured a consistent, high-end finish across all areas, contributing to the overall presentation and success of the space.

Early Works – Industrial Foundation

The project commenced with early-stage works, including the spraying of the exposed ceiling in white, establishing the foundation of the now highly sought-after industrial aesthetic.

This approach:

maximises ceiling height and spatial perception
enhances lighting throughout the space
creates a clean, modern base for the fit-out

Following this, all perimeter walls were completed ahead of office construction, allowing for efficient staging and seamless integration with subsequent trades.

Main Fit-Out & Finishes

As construction progressed, the main fit-out works were completed to a high standard, supported by carefully considered colour selections by the Gowings team.

The palette was chosen to:

enhance the sense of space
introduce warmth without overpowering the environment
provide a neutral, professional backdrop suited to a range of businesses

Each space was finished with precision, ensuring consistency across a large and highly detailed commercial environment.

Feature Timber & Custom Finishes

A standout element of the project is the extensive use of custom timber features, adding warmth and character to the industrial base.

Highlights include:

Timber-lined hallways, finished in Wattyl Estapol Xtra Clear Satin

These finishes were designed to:

enhance the natural grain and texture of the timber
provide contrast against painted surfaces
elevate the overall feel of the workspace
