NAMBUCCA CONSTRUCTIONS

A project that’s built around contrast — dark and light, smooth and textured, refined and raw — and executed to a level where every finish holds its own.

EXTERNAL – BOLD, CONTROLLED & BUILT TO LAST

The exterior hits hard straight away.

The metal cladding comes pre-finished in Colourbond Monument, delivering that deep, bold architectural look straight out of install.
Our role here is all about integration and finishing — ensuring everything surrounding it meets that same standard.

The blockwork system is fully sealed, textured using Dulux AcraTex 3mm Roll-On, and finished with Dulux AcraShield Advance Matt in “Monument”.
This provides a durable, low-sheen coating with depth and consistency — visually anchoring the structure while complementing the cladding above.

A key feature externally is where sandstone meets the metal cladding — a sharp transition between raw natural texture and clean architectural lines.
To protect and enhance the stone, all sandstone elements — including the alfresco and BBQ area — were finished in Dulux Clear Protective Sealer Matt, maintaining the natural look while providing long-term protection.

All penetrations, junctions, and transitions were completed with precision to ensure the pre-finished cladding and coated surfaces read as one seamless, cohesive system.

TIMBER DECK & BALUSTRADE – NATURAL CONTRAST

The deck and balustrade bring everything back to earth.

Finished in Intergrain Natural Stain, the timber is allowed to do what it does best — show grain, variation, and warmth.
Against the Monument palette, it creates that perfect contrast:

Dark structure
Warm natural timber
Clean architectural lines

The stainless cable balustrade keeps the space open, allowing uninterrupted views while maintaining a refined, high-end finish.

ALFRESCO & FEATURE AREAS – TEXTURE DONE RIGHT

The sandstone alfresco and BBQ area acts as a natural extension of the home.

With its matte sealed finish, the stone retains its raw character while being protected for longevity. It softens the darker external palette and creates a strong, usable entertaining space that connects effortlessly with the deck and internal living areas.

INTERNAL – SHARP, CLEAN & CONSISTENT

Step inside and it flips — light, open, and controlled.

Walls, trims and doors are all finished in Snowy Mountains 1/2, creating a seamless, high-end flow throughout the home. No colour breaks, no inconsistencies — just a uniform finish that enhances the architecture.

Ceilings in flat white maximise natural light, particularly through the main living zones with expansive glazing and elevated ceiling heights.

Trims were spray finished to achieve a smooth, consistent, factory-level appearance, while internal doors were brush and rolled, ensuring full coverage, durability, and a uniform finish suited to site conditions.

BATHROOMS – HIGH-END FINISHES WITH DURABILITY

Bathrooms throughout the home were completed to the same high standard, where precision meets performance.

These spaces demand more than just a clean finish — they require durability, moisture resistance and sharp detailing.

Works included:

Careful preparation and sealing of all paintable surfaces
Clean, tight transitions between tiling and painted walls/ceilings
Use of premium Dulux systems suited to high-moisture environments
Crisp cut lines around vanities, niches, glazing and fixtures

The selected finishes complement the feature tiling and matte black fixtures, ensuring the paintwork enhances — rather than competes with — the overall design.

The result is bathrooms that feel refined, cohesive and built to last, maintaining both visual quality and performance over time.

ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS – WHERE IT COUNTS

Internal French doors, finished with precision to maintain clean lines and consistent coverage
Shadow mouldings throughout walls and ceilings requiring tight, straight finishes
High ceilings and bulkheads that expose every surface to natural light

FEATURE FIREPLACE – THE CENTREPIECE

The sandstone fireplace anchors the home internally.

Finished to complement the alfresco stonework, it introduces warmth and texture into the space while contrasting against the clean painted surfaces.
The detailing around this element is critical — sharp cut lines and flawless adjacent finishes ensure the feature stands out exactly as intended.
