Project Overview

Positioned in the sought-after beachside township of Woolgoolga, The Pines is a purpose-built over-50s lifestyle community that redefines modern coastal living.

Delivered by QMR Constructions on behalf of national developer Hometown Australia, this large-scale development comprises 48 architecturally designed homes, each carefully considered to balance functionality, comfort, and long-term durability.

Every element of the project — from energy-efficient design to open-plan layouts and low-maintenance finishes — has been curated to create a community that is not only visually impressive but built for everyday living.

The Pines stands as a benchmark for quality-driven, master-planned residential communities, where consistency, finish, and longevity are critical across every home.

Our Role – Coffs Coast Painting Co.

Coffs Coast Painting Co. was engaged as the principal painting contractor, responsible for delivering the complete painting and coating package across the entire development.

From early construction stages through to final detailing and handover, our team provided a fully integrated painting solution, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a premium finish across all 48 dwellings.

This project required not only high-level workmanship, but also strong coordination, workforce capacity, and proven systems to meet strict deadlines without compromising on quality.

Scope of Works

Our scope covered all internal and external painting requirements, delivered in line with Australian Standards and project specifications.

Internal Works

Full preparation of all plasterboard and trim surfaces
Walls, ceilings, doors, skirtings, and architraves
Wet areas and high-moisture environments
Multi-coat systems including sealing, undercoating, and finishing
Consistent finish quality across all dwellings

External Works

Soffits, eaves, weatherboards, rendered walls, and trims
Application of protective, weather-resistant coating systems
Detailing to ensure sharp lines and uniform presentation across the estate

Additional & Ancillary Works

Carport driveways and pathways
Surface sealing systems for durability and longevity
Ongoing defect rectification and final presentation works
Full compliance with environmental, WHS, and site-specific requirements

Scale, Coordination & Delivery
